~LIVE MUSIC LINE UP~

  • Nathan Ignacio 11a-1p/Park
California-based musician Nathan Ignacio is known for his ability to connect with audiences from all walks of life. Performing most frequently as a one-man-band, his extensive lineup of performance instruments includes guitar, mandolin, harmonica, piano, bass, and dulcimer, playing many instruments simultaneously. Nathan is a signer-songwriter and delivers music that is heartfelt and approachable, whether he's playing an original song or singing a classic cover that the entire crowd can sing along with.

  • Joe Rut and the Sunshine Shovelers 3-6p/Park
Winners of the East Bay Express’ 2024 Best Local Band contest, Joe Rut & The Sunshine Shovelers dish out a hearty serving of country rock, smothered in gravy. Oakland, CA singer/songwriter Joe Rut’s quirky humor underpins a heartfelt, richly lyrical, and subtly hallucinatory alt-country tapestry, and his music has been compared to Todd Snider, The Band, and 70’s-era Grateful Dead. Rut is joined by the thunderous Tim Rowe on drums and Russel Kiel on bass, both veterans of the Bay Area country music scene’s classic band, Crying Time. Adding spice to the gumbo is fiery Telecaster picker Jamie Duncan who embellishes Rut’s story songs with jaw-droppingly melodic lines that weave around the vocals with near-telepathic ease. Come let them Shovel some Sunshine at ya! www.joerut.com
